#2 Fernando Alonso
Fernando Alonso's fourth season at McLaren, since rejoining the team in 2015, has been the same disaster he has suffered from the last three years.
McLaren's new partnership with Renault looked to be a promising one before the first lights out in Melbourne, but instead the team's problems are still with them.
Alonso's future is unsure for now but the great Spaniard has shown yet again this year that he can race despite the limits he faces with the McLaren.
The two time world champion has so far finished in the points in eight of the 12 races including a 5th place finish at the Australian Grand Prix.
During the first half period, Alonso won the Le Mans 24 in his mission to achieve the triple crown and all that remains for him is to win the Indy 500.
