Felipe Massa believes that he will find a seat next year in his current team Ferrari. The Brazilian has not been in good form for quite some time scoring just 61 points so far and he admitted that he needs to perform better to stay in the team.
“The possibility to stay is there, but the most important thing is the results. I’m happy with the way I’m driving in terms of pace – in qualifying and race pace,” Massa was quoted as saying by Autosport.
There have been reports of Ferrari looking for new driver, apparently as a replacement for Massa, whose contract with the Italian team expires at the end of this season.
Massa, who joined Ferrari as a race driver in 2006, has not won a single race after his near fatal accident in 2010.
