Scuderia Ferrari have announced the name for their new car for 2014 season. Ferrari had earlier held an online poll to determine the name, and the voters had to choose from a pool of five names: F14 T, F14 Maranello, F14 Scuderia, F166 Turbo and F616.
As many as 1,123,741 people voted and “F14 T” had the highest number of votes ahead of F166 Turbo.
Team principal Stefano Domenicali stated: “It’s nice to know the name of the car has been chosen by our fans. The amazing number of votes shows just how popular Ferrari has always been and this will be, as always, a further impetus for us to do well this year!”
The car will be unveiled tomorrow, three days prior to the testing.
