Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has assured that the team have total confidence in Brazilian driver Felipe Massa.
Massa has been under fire for not performing well. The Brazilian has managed to collect just 57 points so far this season with only one podium finish.
He started well in Nurburgring but lost control of his car and was soon out of the race.
Adding to his woes is his contract with the Italian team which, if not renewed, will expire at the end of the current season.
Meanwhile, Ferarri is reportedly trying to lure German driver Nico Hulkenberg, possibly as a replacement for Massa.
However, Montezemolo maintained that the team is in no hurry to decide about the 2014 line up.
“The future? We will talk about that further down the line as there’s no hurry,” he said.
He further added that the team has high expectations from the Brazilian.
“I hope he will soon secure the results that will show his talent to the full, such as the great starts he pulled off at the last two Grand Prix” he added.
