Storms do not always come with a warning, thundery and unpredictable nothing comes in between the chaos caused by their storming
When will it come and with what vigour will it arrive,
Just how destructive is its intent, what is the subject behind it’s strive
There are more questions than any clues left in the way of a storm
Arriving with vehemence, one can be sure that there is going to be some harm
But when a storm arrives in a maddening wagon at top speed, It knows only to stop at the top stable of greatness,
then whatever comes as the second best, it pays no heed
Roaring with a mission to disrupt and shake the ambience removing all peace
Reverberating with magnificence remains its silent agenda, standing on top being almost a contagious disease
One such storm arrived on the Formula one scene in 2002, and began causing great turnstiles
Finding a seat in Williams, it began moving up the ladder and its path to reach greatness wasn’t going to take a long while
It had played the second hero for long
A P5, P4, or at best being the second fastest wasn’t going to be the scene for long
Oodles of sweat accompanied fiery determination
To win the spectator’s beating heart with maddening drives out there, was to be the sole ambition
After Williams, came the chance for the storm to find a home with Mercedes,
Already outdoing the pro’s out there, succeeding ahead of daunting expectations was a must, there would certainly be lots of difficulties
But, enter 2013, and the storm began taking its chances in the open
With every track, every curve, there was an equally spirited response
After all, riding in the zooming four wheeler was not any ordinary storm
The naysayers were also given their chances to speak
While they doubted with enthusiasm the talent of the storm, it was busy topping speed charts and there were already testing circuits that were beginning to get peaked
Being second to Schumacher wasn’t going to be an easy task
But this was no mean pushover , it was a storm that could drive hell fast
The podiums were beginning to welcome this mighty German
Be it at Malaysia, or China, speeding with a rage was never going to be a burden
The rest of the lot finally took notice,
that what lied ahead of them would be no lame obstacle
This was the beginning of the rise of a force that would do anything to win and had demonstrated that imposing threats could also be tackled
The Alonso’s were being held off and the Button’s had already pressed the panic button
Competing with them was no ordinary star, it was a force that could be as demonic as the Satan
Why should the Vettel’s only rule the roost and why should Germany be known only by the glories of Sebastian
The iconic world of F1 was getting to know a star that could stop the Spaniard, trounce Schumi and even press a warning to Button
Never the one to celebrate by a thumping ‘in your face expression’
New glories were shining on the bay of this storm, Nico was the new rising star of the F1 kingdom
Enter 2014, and the engines changed and so did the rules
The Raikkonen’s were seen struggling, the Vettel’s left way behind, but the storm continued to foray toward greatness, there was but one name that would rule
As if there was a chaos with this storming in the starry world of Formula one
Where others were beginning to lose the grip of the race, the speed charts, this cool bloke had it all won
Eclipsing newer seas of greatness, thumping record after record, qualifying on pole became a common phenomenon
This storm was certainly going to last
When ice melts and becomes a challenger to voyagers transforming into a giant mass called an Iceberg,
Let us not forget it can even derail Titanic or so seems the plan of this wonder talent called Nico Rosberg
With just the right car and the perfect balance of mind, body and spirit
This ‘other’ German has loomed large on the F1 galaxy and is storming his way to become an all time hit
