The trolling season is on. Formula One stars couldn’t stay away from being a victim. They were trolled by cartoon characters with striking similarities. Checkout the uncanny resemblance of the stars to the familiar characters.
1. Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber – Batman and Robin
Playing second fiddle to his dominant teammate, Mark Webber definitely fits well into the shoes of Robin while the world goes gaga over Sebastian Vettel who takes away much of the glory like Batman. Check out the graphic and you can’t miss the similarity.
2. Adrian Newey – Dexter
Genius is the word that unites the two. Adrian Newey, is the tech wizard turning things around for Red-Bull while Dexter is the boy-genius who prefers to stay in his laboratory while kids at his age involve themselves in the usual stuff. If only Newey had some more hair and glasses like Dexter it would have been an ideal spot the difference scenario but then the resemblance is close enough isn’t it.
3. Kimi Raikkonen – Pingu
It’s anybody’s guess what connects Kimi Raikkonen and Pingu. Yeah, it’s ice. See them posing in the graphic and they look like a mirror image. Ok you Kimi fans, relax this is just a troll.
4. Lewis Hamilton – Barney (from Barney & Friends fame)
For those of you who don’t know Barney, he is a purple Tyrannaosaurus who along with his friends uses songs and dance to spread educational messages. I don’t have to tell you the similarity, you need to see to believe it. Those eyes and smile say it all. Did someone say Hamilton is friendly too? Ok, you can add that one too.
5. Romain Grosjean – Pepe le Pew
Remember the skunk from Looney toons? Remember the accent? Yeah it was French. There’s one common thing between our very own Romain Grosjean. Checkout the hairdo. Also, picture that with the Grosjean smile which you saw at the recent podiums. Voila!!
6. Nico Rosberg – He Man
Man, look at those goldilocks and the expressions. Need i say more. Rosberg was pretty much the He-Man in his initial days at Mercedes when he outperformed the legendary Michael Schumacher but he is yet to become the Master of the Universe, uh-oh i mean the World Champion.
7. Daniel Ricciardo – Scooby Doo
The smile says it all. Though I haven’t heard Ricciardo laughing but i couldn’t miss picturing him and Scooby doo. Ohh boy!!
8. Fernando Alonso – Richard Dastardly
Look at those moustaches. Dastardly was mean in the Flying Machine and so could be Alonso on the track.
9. Sergio Perez – Speedy Gonzalez
Speedy Gonzalez and Sergio Perez, aren’t they mirror replicas. Ok kidding. Sergio is surely the fastest driver in Mexico (hope Esteban Gutierrez is not listening) much like our Speedy mouse. The Mexican hat unites the two, doesn’t it.
10. Bernie Ecclestone – Uncle Scrooge
And finally it’s the best one i think. It can’t get close than this. I can go on with a laundry list of similarities. But for once I shall let you think about them. For me the glasses and the eyes did it.
