The Formula One landscape is all set to change on Monday as the sport’s new rule-making Strategy group will hold its first meeting on Monday.
The group, which replaced the old sporting and technical working groups, consists of Formula One teams including Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes, Williams, Red Bull and Lotus.
The customer car issue will be the main agenda of Monday’s meeting. The decisions made could endanger the smaller teams as the bigger teams will be looking to sell their engines to more competitive rival teams.
Meanwhile, Force India’s Bob Fernley termed the new body as unethical and undemocratic as it hosted only the powerful and top teams in Formula One.
