World Champion Sebastian Vettel has been summoned by FIA after the German pulled out a series of donuts to celebrate his fourth consecutive championship.
Vettel spilled his emotions over after the chequered flag in the Buddh circuit with some donuts and then stopped the car to throw his gloves to the stands instead of the standard procedures.
According to the rules the driver should take his car straight to the parc ferme after the race to avoid interference with the other car. And Vettel clearly violated this rule and could be fined according to reports. The FIA stewards stopped Vettel during his celebration and also called up team manager Jonathan Wheatley for further procedures.
Meanwhile, Helmut Marko commented that he understands the official’s reasoning and added that it wouldn’t be ideal to ruin the mark of such a universally enjoyed moment in the name of rules.
