As Sportskeeda had reported earlier, India’s biggest stars will be present at the brand new Buddh International Circuit (BIC) to cheer the arrival of Formula One in India. The stands at the BIC will look like a mini India with the presence of stars from various fields. Cricket, Politics, Bollywood’s icons will join the crowd of 80,000 at the circuit to witness the biggest ever motorsports event in India.
Sachin Tendulkar is the biggest name who has already reached for the race that is scheduled to start at 3 pm IST. Sachin met Formula One Boss Bernie Ecclestone. Cricket’s biggest achiever Sachin discussed F1′s future in India with Bernie. Sachin also met Michael Schumacher who is part of the Mercedes Team. Sachin and his family also met fellow Mecedes driver Nico Rosberg. Schumacher is an old friend of Sachin and if you remember he had gifted a Ferrari car to Sachin in the past. It is also being reported that Sachin may wave the Chequered flag at the end of the race. Sachin’s love for motorsports is well known.

Other cricket stars who are expected at the venue are Indian Cricket captain MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, VVS Laxman, Saurav Ganguly and Suresh Raina. Sourav Ganguly is also the ambassador of the Sahara Force India team in India. Tennis star Sania Mirza will also turn up at the venue. Leander Paes too is expected to reach the circuit before the start of the race.
From Bollywood, Superstar Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan will mark their presence. Rahul Bose and Gulshan Grover are other Bollywood actors who will also be there.
Arun Jaitley and Kapil Sibbal etc. will represent the politicians at the Buddh circuit. Though the President, Prime Minister and chairperson of UPA were invited, no confirmation has reached the organisers regarding their presence. Interestingly, Indian Sports Minister has not been invited.
It seems, the country’s galaxy of stars doesn’t want to miss the first F1 action in India.
