Does this one interest you for the ostentatiousness of its colour? For a man who's driven a Ferrari and for quite a while, how interesting, it must be asked, is the Mercedes AMG-GT R for a ride?

For this one, in particular, it could be said, while there may be an instant reaction (if not revulsion) from the point of view of Lewis Hamilton's biggest fans or backers, it may not really be an ideal way to comment about a car that represents the very brand the man has helped shape in the modern-day history of the sport.

While critics are always welcome and there are hundreds of thousands at Monza that may have been incensed seeing the silver rule where the red was thought to have belonged, where's the sense in accepting the fact that it's dominance and not defeat?

This, it mustn't be forgotten, is very nearly an era of Formula 1 where Mercedes is winning and others, including their biggest rivals- Ferrari- only happen to exist, unless Sebastian and Leclerc or either among them decided to take race-control in their hands.
