Lewis Hamilton is devastated to hear about the death of Robin Williams

Lewis Hamilton expressed his shock and disappointment over the death of American actor Robin Williams. The Oscar winning actor and comedian was found dead on Monday at the age of 63. It was later disclosed that the actor had committed suicide. He is a huge sports fanatic and the British F1 driver on his part offered his condolences through his official twitter account.

Hamilton who has won five races this season including four in a row, finished 3rd in the recently concluded Hungarian Grand Prix which was won by rookie Daniel Ricciardo of Australia. The Brit is currently 2nd in the driver’s standings with 191 points which is just 11 points below his team mate Nico Rosberg. The Mercedes pair have firmly put their team on course to winning the constructor’s Championship as well even though there are still eight races to go in the season.

Also last month, Hamilton suffered a crash during the qualifying race at the German Grand Prix, but miraculously escaped unhurt.
