Lewis Hamilton is a British racing driver who competes in Formula 1 for Mercedes. Hamilton owns the F1 record for career race victories and is at par with Michael Schumacher in holding the record for winning seven Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship titles.

Hamilton was ranked as the richest British sportsperson in 2015. According to Forbes magazine, he was one of the highest-paid athletes of the 2010s decade and the highest-paid F1 driver from 2013 to 2021.
