Force India driver Paul Di Resta has said that he is unlikely to stay at the team next season and added that he could well be on his way to Sauber.
Di Resta, who spent the last three seasons with Force India, is yet to be offered a new deal. And at the same time the team signed Nico Hulkenberg from Sauber and is already in talks with McLaren’s Sergio Perez.
“(Force India) are speaking to me every two or three days. They may be interested. They may not. I believe they are in talks with Sergio Perez. It’s looking likely that I will not be driving,” Di Resta said.
He also revealed that he still has an option of moving to Mercedes-Benz in the DTM touring car series but insisted that he hopes to stay in the Formula One.
“The only team that really has any possibility is Sauber. There has been nothing other than a chat with my manager. I am speaking to Mercedes-Benz for DTM,” he added.
