F1 will head to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez to host the annual Mexico City GP after a thrilling US Grand Prix last weekend. The sport is currently in the middle of its penultimate triple header of the season with the North American leg coming to an end at Las Vegas next month.
With just five races remaining in the 2024 season, teams have been working hard to bring the final bit of parts to add performance to their cars and score as many points as possible.
Many teams brought upgrades to their cars at the Circuit of the Americas last weekend, and some teams decided to bring in upgrades at the Mexico City GP given the last race was a sprint weekend.

Williams F1
Williams F1 has brought two track-specific elements to its cars in a bid to unlock more performance this weekend. The Grove-based outfit has brought a new beam wing to tackle the high downforce layout and add more load to the car, and also introduced a new engine cover to aid in cooling the car.
Red Bull
Red Bull has not brought any significant upgrades to the Mexico City GP, given it unveiled a new package last weekend. RBR has brought a new engine/ coke cover and a new front corner to tackle the high altitude of the track and cool the car.
Visa Cash App RB
The VCARB F1 team is among the few to have brought a significant upgrade package to the race weekend as it has brought new floor fences and floor edges to add more performance and more aerodynamic load while also introducing a coke/engine cover and cooling louvers to help cool the VCARB01 during the weekend.
McLaren F1
McLaren F1 has introduced its highly anticipated floor to the Mexico City GP which will be revised from its old floor and will increase more aerodynamic load to the MCL38. Just like the others, the Woking-based outfit has brought a new Coke cover and cooling louvers to help cool the car in the thin air throughout the weekend.
Ferrari
After already introducing its new upgrade package at the Singapore Grand Prix weekend last month, the Italian team has chosen to continue with its upgraded car that claimed a 1-2 at the US GP last weekend.
Like its competitors, Ferrari has only brought circuit-specific changes to the SF-24 such as a high downforce wing and cooling louvers to help cool the car efficiently and reduce the components from overheating at the weekend.
Mercedes, Kick Sauber, Haas F1, Alpine, and Aston Martin have reportedly not brought any components for their cars for the Mexico City GP.
