Lewis Hamilton reacted to Mercedes junior driver Doriane Pin's observation as she arrived to race in America. She discussed the eating habits of the country that she came across while racing at Daytona.

Appearing on the chatshow Jimmy Kimmel Live, French driver Doriane Pin was asked about the things she has observed during her time in the United States. She first talked about her favorite race track (Road Atlanta) and then discussed the eating habits she observed. She claimed that the most surprising thing she observed about the US was that people ate hamburgers for breakfast.

"But you get to, you really, what surprises you most about America?" Kimmel asked her.
"Eating burgers in the morning? We are not eating this in France," Pin replied.

Kimmel then said that Americans do not have hamburgers for breakfast and asked her where she had heard it from. Doriane Pin replied that she witnessed it while racing in Daytona, Florida.

"When I was racing in Daytona in Florida, they was eating burgers in the morning."

$300 million worth Lewis Hamilton reposted this clip on his Instagram stories, seemingly digging into the humor. Appreciating the Mercedes junior driver, he wrote:

"Love this, well done @dorianepin"

Lewis Hamilton describes his "frustrating" weekend in Brazil

The Briton had a tough weekend in Brazil as he started the race back in P14 and finished P10. Throughout the race, he complained to his team about the car's ride quality. After the race, he stated that it was a disastrous weekend and that the car was in its worst shape. He also mentioned that if that was his last weekend racing with the team, it would be unfortunate to have ended that way.

Discussing this confusing message, Lewis Hamilton mentioned that he did not feel like returning to racing after the weekend. However, he added that it was out of frustration.

"In the moment that's how I felt. I didn't really want to come back after that weekend,” Lewis Hamilton told the media. "But I think that's only natural. It's frustrating when you have a season like this, which I'm pretty sure I won't have again, or at least I'll work toward not having again."
"It wasn't a great feeling in that moment, but I'm here, I'm standing strong and I'm going to give it absolutely everything for these last few races," he concluded.

Notably, Hamilton is set to move to Ferrari next season. He will replace Carlos Sainz, who will move to Williams Racing to partner with Alex Albon.
