Former Visa Cash App RB driver Daniel Ricciardo's girlfriend Heidi Berger shared some images of the Halloween season, which included the Aussie driver. The 35-year-old left the sport at the end of the 2024 F1 Singapore Grand Prix after he was dropped by the Faenza-based outfit in favor of Liam Lawson for the remainder of the season.

The eight-time race winner joined the Red Bull sister team in the 2023 Hungarian GP, replacing Nyck de Vries, with a target of replacing Sergio Perez on the senior team in the future. Despite getting close during the summer break of 2024, Ricciardo could not achieve his target and was let go by the Austrian energy drink brand.

Ever since his departure, Daniel Ricciardo has not been spotted in the F1 frequently but is living his best life away from the sport as evidenced by his limited social media posts.

Heidi Berger, who is the daughter of McLaren driver Gerhard Berger and has been going out with the Aussie since 2020, recently took to her Instagram account, to share a series of images of her Halloween celebrations, which featured Ricciardo playing with a cat. She captioned:

"A little bit of pumpkin everything season."

When Daniel Ricciardo gave a rare comment regarding his relationship with Heidi Berger

Despite being a public couple, Daniel Ricciardo and Heidi Berger have not spoken about each other often in the media. So it came as a nice surprise for everyone when the former Red Bull driver gave a rare insight into his personal life.

While appearing on Fitzy & Wippa in September 2022, Ricciardo revealed:

“Yeah mate, I’m in love. I got a good thing going, so yeah. I’ve got a good balance in life right now.”

Berger was spotted frequently supporting the former F1 driver in the paddock but often kept a low profile. Ricciardo left the sport with a legion of fans and a legacy that transcended far beyond the sport but Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko noted that the former had "lost his killer instinct", saying to Motorsport-Total:

"I think the decision to leave Red Bull Racing was the turning point in his career. Then he didn't have a winning car at either Renault or McLaren. He did win at Monza, but those were special circumstances."
"I don't know what exactly happened, because if we knew, we would have helped him. But the speed and, above all, this late braking, and then he goes left or right... in these last few years he tried but it was no longer there, the killer instinct was gone," he added.

Daniel Ricciardo had scored 12 points in 18 races and three Sprints in the 2024 season before his exit and had been trailing his then-RB teammate Yuki Tsunoda in the standings.
