Charles Leclerc recently opened up on his drivers' parade conversation with Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari driver revealed that he often divulges into light-hearted conversations with his Mercedes counterpart regarding Ferrari's current situation, and the chat even extends to their common passion.

Leclerc and Hamilton are not very close when it comes to their off-track chemistry. However, things might change in the future as the British driver is all set to be Leclerc's teammate at the Prancing Horse next season after Ferrari decided to let Carlos Sainz go and bring in the seven-time world champion.

While Leclerc and Hamilton are often spotted chatting during the race weekends, the former understands that he cannot reveal too much information about his team to the latter, who is still a very much Mercedes loyalist.

"I think it's a mix of things, we talk a little bit about the situation at Ferrari and where we are now, but this is only a very small part of our discussions," Leclerc told Sky Sports F1. "Obviously he's still 100% focused on his season with Mercedes, so we can't talk about everything for obvious reasons.”

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton share a common passion, fashion. While it's no secret that Hamilton leads the way in Formula 1 when it comes to fashion, Leclerc is not far behind. Besides this, the duo also share similar interests in music.

“In preparation for 2025, we talk about our common passions, which in general are design and fashion. I believe, though, that 80 or 90% of our conversations are about the private sphere, our lives, music, and that kind of things, which is really nice," the Monegasque driver added.

Lewis Hamilton agreed to sever his 12-year-old tie with the Silver Arrows in search of the coveted eighth world championship. While the 39-year-old is statistically the most successful F1 driver ever, arguably, one more championship would see him become the greatest of all time.

Can Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc be arch-rivals at Ferrari next season?

The 2025 season will see Lewis Hamilton, a seasoned veteran team up with Charles Leclerc, a prolonged Ferrari figure to go out in red overalls together. However, can there be a moment when things can get ugly for them?

While there is no straightforward answer to this, Hamilton and Leclerc are both extremely competitive drivers and it is sure that one cannot expect leeway when the competition gets underway next season.

If Ferrari manages to deliver a competitive car, on one side there will be Lewis Hamilton, all hungry for the eighth world championship and on the other hand, Charles Leclerc will gear up for his first F1 title.
