Charles Leclerc's girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux was recently seen enjoying a vacation. She posted several pictures of herself on her social media, with the Ferrari driver seen relaxing with his pet dog, Leo, in a second set of pictures she later posted.
Leclerc and Alexandra have been together for about a year now. They were first spotted together as a couple in March 2023. Since then, they have frequently been seen together in and out of F1 paddocks.
In a recent Instagram post by Alexandra Saint Mleux, she was seen taking a vacation with Charles Leclerc on the latter's yacht. Donning a white swimsuit, Alexandra posed for the camera on Leclerc's yacht.
Though the Ferrari driver himself did not feature in the first post, Alexandra posted another set of pictures two hours later, where Charles Leclerc was seen lying at the front of the yacht with his pet dog Leo in his arms.
The Monegasque and his partner were able to take a vacation after the European triple-header in Spain, Austria, and Britain. After the British GP, there was a one-week gap before the F1 circus moved to Budapest for the Hungarian GP.
Charles Leclerc disappointed after a poor performance at the British GP
Charles Leclerc recently discussed the problems that Ferrari was having following a disappointing British GP performance. The Monegasque struggled with the changing weather and poor pit stop strategy, only managing to qualify for P11 and finishing the race in P14.
In an interview with F1.com, he acknowledged that in comparison to other elite teams like Red Bull, McLaren, and Mercedes, the SF-24 is incredibly slow. He also urged his team to evaluate every problem and decide on a better course of action.
"We are just really slow at the moment. We have a lot of inconsistencies with the car. We are just trying to assess the situation. We are trying to understand which is the right direction we need to push. I felt like yesterday by splitting the cars we understood a good amount to use for the future. However that means you don't optimize your whole weekend as you are focused just trying to learn," Leclerc said.
"So, at the moment, we are just struggling with the situation we are in and hope we can bounce back as soon as possible," he concluded.
In contrast, Leclerc's teammate, Carlos Sainz, had a much better race at Silverstone. The Spaniard qualified P7 and secured P5 at the end. In the last few races, Leclerc's performance has drastically declined whereas Sainz was still managing to stay relatively near the top of the grid.
After the British GP, Charles Leclerc is currently placed third in the drivers' championship with 150 points. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen continues to lead the table with 255 points.
