Charles Leclerc thanks Taylor Swift fans for being “generous” and filling his arm with her bracelets

Charles Leclerc expressed his gratitude to Taylor Swift fans after they filled the Ferrari driver's arm with bracelets. This occurred while the Monegasque star was in Milan, Italy, for Swift's Eras Tour.

Leclerc attended the concert with his girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux. Also present were Alpine's Pierre Gasly and his girlfriend Kiko Cerqueira Gomes. The two couples were spotted together in the stands, speaking among themselves.

The Ferrari star found himself showered with numerous bracelets. Fans at Swift's concerts exchange 'friendship bracelets' with each other. Reacting to this, the #16 driver took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture accompanied by an appreciative note. He wrote:

"Swifties have been very generous with us tonight. We had such a good time. @lexandrasaintmleux."

Leclerc and Gasly are not the only F1 drivers to have attended a Swift concert in recent times. Nico Rosberg attended the American singer's concert in London last month. Rosberg accompanied his wife Vivian Sibold Rosberg as the couple joined the likes of Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, and Mila Kunis in attendance.

Taylor Swift is on almost a two-year-long tour around the world, the Eras Tour. Started in March last year, the tour is slated to take place in over 152 destinations, across five continents. The globetrotting tour will conclude in December this year.

Alexandra Saint Mleux once added salt to Charles Leclerc's wound with a simple action

Following his Monaco Grand Prix win, Charles Leclerc has faced one difficulty after another on track. From DNFs to finishes outside the points positions, the Monegasque has had to undergo some tough times. He finished three races outside the points, in Canada, Austria, and most recently in Great Britain.

Since his Monaco GP victory, he has been able to pick up points in only one race (at the Spanish GP). Amid these difficulties, his girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux's activity on social media seemed to add salt to his wounds.

Recently, Mleux liked a meme where the words "Him having the hardest day of his life," are accompanied by an image of a woman with "Me suffering because he hasn’t replied to my text" as the caption next to her.

Given LeClerc's on-track woes, some fans found the timing of this to be quite funny. As for Leclerc, he is currently P3 in the driver's championship with 150 points, ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz who has 146 points.

Max Verstappen continues to lead the championship with 255 points. Ferrari are P2 in the Constructors' Championship with 302 points, 71 points behind leaders Red Bull.
