F1 stars Carlos Sainz and George Russell’s girlfriends enjoy “girls date” together

Mercedes F1 driver George Russell's girlfriend Carmen Montero Mundt shared her outing with Williams F1 driver Carlos Sainz's girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson on social media. Russell is enjoying a fruitful time on and off the track after outclassing Lewis Hamilton in the 2024 season.

The 26-year-old has also been going strong with his Spanish girlfriend since 2020, and the couple reside in Monaco apartment. Mundt is often spotted attending Russell's races to cheer for the three-time F1 race winner.

Mundt shared a picture of two coffee cups on Instagram story as she enjoyed an outing with Sainz's girlfriend Donaldson, whom the former Ferrari driver has been dating since 2023 after his breakup with Isabel Hernaez. Mundt wrote:

"It's a Girl's Date."

The King's Lynn native ended the 2024 season in P6 with 245 points and race wins in Austria and Las Vegas. He finished first in Spa as well but was disqualified after the race for having a lighter car.

George Russell assesses his 2024 campaign after Abu Dhabi

Mercedes driver George Russell said that he was "pleased" by his performances in the 2024 season, given that he emerged as the lead driver in the German team.

Speaking with Motorsportweek, the Brit was particularly satisfied with his results over one lap:

“I feel really pleased with my own personal performance this year. I think in qualifying I’ve been performing better than ever. Whenever the car has had a chance of being on pole, we’ve been on pole. Whenever we’ve had a chance of fighting for the victory, especially since Canada, I think that was the only race that went amiss, we’ve been in that position to take it.

“That gives me confidence. If we build a car that is capable of fighting for a championship, we’ll be there to achieve it. The few opportunities we’ve had this year, we’ve clinched it. As a team, we’ve won almost as many races as McLaren, which is crazy to think.”

He added that he could take the fight to Max Verstappen in the driver's championship, telling Daily Mail:

"Yes, absolutely. The difference [between Verstappen and Norris] is that when Max has had the chance he has won, whereas his rivals who should have beaten him this year did not."

George Russell had some spicy battles with Max Verstappen on and off the track over the years, which has resulted in the duo having some heated moments.
