F1 fans reacted to Charles Leclerc's pet dog, Leo, and Lewis Hamilton's pet dog, Roscoe, finally meeting with each other. Both drivers were seen playing around with their dogs together ahead of the 2024 F1 Hungarian GP.
Leclerc recently adopted Leo with his partner Alexandra Saint Mleux. He shared images of the cute puppy on Instagram back in April. Leo was also seen in several Grand Prix paddocks either with the Ferrari driver or his partner. Soon after Leo became popular in the F1 community, fans wanted Leclerc's pet to meet Lewis Hamilton's dog, Roscoe, whom he had adopted in 2013.
F1 fans' wish came true as Leclerc and Hamilton recently shared images of Leo and Roscoe meeting with each other. While their dogs played, both F1 drivers talked to each other as well. Roscoe was more relaxed than little Leo, who moved around quite quickly.
Many fans were delighted to see both Leo and Roscoe meeting. Additionally, they were also interested in Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc meeting each other, since they will be driving alongside each other in Ferrari in 2025. They commented on how the Ferrari driver lineup will look like in 2025. One fan also joked that the dogs were extremely adorable, but their owners are only fairly talented.
"Ferrari 2025 sneak peak," one fan wrote.
"The Ferrari 2025 besties," another chimed in.
"The 2025 Ferrari line up are adorable, their owners are talented too ig," someone joked.
One fan hilariously reposted a picture of Leo and Roscoe playing and asked whether Roscoe survived Leo's attack. This was because Leclerc's little pet was much more active in that picture compared to Roscoe.
"Can you confirm to us Roscoe survived the attack?" a follower hilariously asked.
"Are they best friends like theirs dads now????" another eagerly questioned.
Charles Leclerc talks about his new pet dog Leo
In April 2024, Charles Leclerc welcomed a new member to his family, Leo. The Monegasque took pictures of his new golden retriever puppy and posted them on his official Instagram account after adopting him.
Speaking ahead of the Chinese GP, Leclerc talked about Leo in the press conference. He said that though his family always had pet dogs, Leo was the first that was his very own. He expressed that he felt delighted after the dog entered his life.
"Yes, a dog. I've always had dogs within my family, but never had my own. And yeah, he joined last Monday and it's been great," Leclerc said.
When asked who takes care of Leo, Charles Leclerc said that his partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux, takes care of the puppy. However, he also pointed out that he looks after his dog when he is at home.
"My girlfriend, but I do take care of him when I'm at home," he added.
