During the 2024 Miami Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton took Kendall Jenner for a ride in the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe. Jenner was one of the renowned guests during the first American race of the season, Jenner was given the opportunity to experience an F1 Hot Lap powered by Pirelli tires.
Jenner was the guest in line for the Pirelli Hot Lap on Friday, May 3, after the first Free Practice session. Hamilton managed P7 on FP1, where he ran 24 laps. Following this, he took Jenner around the Miami International Autodromo in the Mercedes Coupe.
As they set out for the lap, Jenner told Hamilton that she knew the latter was a good driver and that there was nothing to prove. Following this, Hamilton stated that he could not believe he hadn't taken Jenner out in the Hot Lap earlier.

Throughout the lap, the American model kept on screaming and begging Hamilton to drive slowly, to which the latter did not pay heed. As Hamilton kept on driving the yellow Mercedes in full swing, Kendall Jenner's screams grew louder.
In the end, she screamed and reassured Lewis Hamilton that the latter was a good driver. Hamilton took the compliment, laughed, and kept driving at high speed. While the speed and acceleration of the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe was nowhere close to that of an F1 car, it seemed a little too much for someone like Jenner.
Nearing the end of the lap, Hamilton tried a few donuts with Jenner, leaving the latter speechless. When they stopped after the lap, the American model said:
"He made me do donuts. I screamed the whole time. That was so fun, sorry for screaming." (3:25-3:30)

Mercedes planning a special livery for Lewis Hamilton to mark his departure
Lewis Hamilton signed a multi-year contract with Ferrari earlier this year. According to the contract, the seven-time world champion will leave Brackley at the end of this season. Prior to his departure, Mercedes is making sure they bring out a special livery to mark their most successful driver's last stints with the Silver Arrows.
As per reports, the livery of Hamilton's final race at Abu Dhabi will contain the names of 150 fans. They would be drawn randomly from an entry list. To enter, fans will have to head to the team's official website and enter their details — country, name, and e-mail. The entry closes after November 26, 23:59 GMT.
Hamilton arrived at Mercedes in 2013. The 2024 marks his 12th season with the team where he claimed six out of his seven F1 titles, numerous wins, pole positions, and podium finishes. Besides this, he also helped the Silver Arrows claim eight Constructors' Championships.
