Hollywood superstar Will Smith once said he would have to work on his "gut" while answering a question on his involvement in the new "F1" movie produced by Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion has a lot of popular celebrity friends in all quarters of the world including the fields of entertainment, music, and fashion.

The former Mercedes is a producer on an upcoming movie titled "F1," releasing in 2025, which stars Brad Pitt and will be directed by "Top Gun: Maverick" fame director Joseph Krasinski.

He said,

"Team Lewis, that's my guy. Out late last night so I lost my voice a little bit but always Team Lewis."

In response to Brundle's question if he was going to be in the "F1" movie, Smith said,

"I haven't been asked yet but I might have to work on this gut though it doesn't fit in the car too well."

Hollywood producer speaks about Lewis Hamilton's contribution to the upcoming film

Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer, producer of the upcoming film "F1," said former Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is going to extreme detail to make the movie release in 2025 to give an experience of "what it takes to be an F1 driver".

Speaking with RacingNews365, the 81-year-old said,

"Lewis Hamilton saw a part of it, and gave us a critique of how the drivers actually do various things. The level of specifics that he gave us, like in Silverstone in Turn 3 you're in second gear, and he could hear with his ear we [Brad Pitt] were in third gear.
"When he finishes a race, especially like Singapore, where it's very hot, he can barely get out of the car, they lose 10 pounds. They're just completely exhausted [and] we're going to show what it takes to be an F1 driver."

The Hollywood producer also spoke about the "authenticity" that Hamilton's comments and changes were introducing. He said,

"The authenticity that he brings, we just can't imagine what goes into what a driver does and what the sport brings to an audience. Sometimes we don't like to hear some of the things he says, because it costs us more money to fix things, but we're all in, we want to make it great, and he's certainly helping us."

The "F1" movie crew was last seen shooting some portions of the movie during the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Brad Pitt clicked pictures with almost every team before the weekend.
