Former F1 world champion Damon Hill took a jibe at multi-billionaire (according to Forbes) Elon Musk in the latter's recent post on X (formerly Twitter). The retired British driver reacted to Musk posting an AI-generated clip with characters resembling Game of Thrones characters.
In the recent past, Musk has commented on the UK government's handling of the recent civic unrest in that country, repeatedly reposting or tweeting his opinions.
On the other hand, Damon Hill has made a few comments in reaction to Musk's recent activity on X.
On August 18, Elon Musk posted an AI-generated video that looked like the popular TV show "Game of Thrones." In the clip, some characters were seen partying in a rave-like environment. Musk's caption conveyed the idea that it's difficult to know "what's real."
Hill shared Musk's post and shared his opinion:
"If Elon becomes the ruler of the free world (as well he could) it will be like living in one long episode of Game of Thrones, if it isn't already! So not far to go now," Hill wrote.
The Game of Thrones TV series was set in medieval times and had many incidents of gruesome deaths, crimes, and fraud.
Former F1 champion praises and teases Elon Musk on SpaceX's recent mass satellite launch
Damon Hill appreciated multi-billionaire Elon Musk for SpaceX's recent 116-satellite launch, on X.
On August 16, 2024, Musk's company SpaceX launched a historic rideshare mission into space. Launched on the company's Transporter 11 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, the Falcon 9 rocket carried 116 satellites.
Musk recently posted an on-board video of the Falcon 9 rocket lifting off the ground. This clip was shared by the former F1 world champion, where he praised the achievement, but also seemingly teased Musk:
"I do like this though. More optimistic. Also, bloody incredible! I hope its not AI generated," Hill wrote.
Hill is quite active on various social media platforms, including Musk-owned X, where has more than 231,000 followers. The 1996 world champion frequently reposts motorsport and car-related pictures and videos, especially some old F1 wheel-to-wheel battles.
Apart from that, Damon Hill currently works as a presenter on Sky Sports F1, particularly commentating during practice sessions.
