Red Bull driver Max Verstappen's girlfriend Kelly Piquet shared an adorable picture with her daughter Penelope Kvyat as they spent some quality time in the snow. The Brazilian model is currently pregnant with her first child with the four-time F1 world champion after they announced the news to the public ahead of the season finale last month in Abu Dhabi.

The 35-year-old has been dating the Dutch driver since late 2020 and has been a regular in the F1 paddock supporting him in the races. Kelly comes from a racing background as her father is former three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet Sr., who raced in the sport predominantly in the 80s with teams like Brabham, and Williams.

Before Verstappen, Kelly Piquet had dated former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat from 2015 to 2019 and shares a five-year-old daughter, Penelope, with him. On her most recent Instagram Story, Kelly posted a picture in the snow with Penelope as they enjoyed the holiday season.

Recently, while addressing one of her followers in her comment section on the social media platform, the Brazilian model spoke about her pregnancy struggles while motivating them and also gave an update on when the child could be born, saying:

"My first trimester was rough. I’m entering third now! You got this."

When Max Verstappen spoke about his equation with Kelly Piquet's family

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen previously shared that he prefers to extend his stay in Brazil during the annual race at Interlagos as he gets to spend time with his girlfriend Kelly Piquet's family.

As per GPBlog, the 27-year-old spoke about his dynamic with her "in-laws" and reflected:

"Of course, my family-in-law is Brazilian. And yeah, I appreciate it a lot, meeting all of them all the time when I'm coming over. You know, it's quite a travel from Europe, but we always try to combine it with the Grand Prix and stay a bit longer. Also for Kelly, to spend more time with the family. I've been really welcomed very nicely within the family. "

"Of course, there's a massive history as well with racing within the family, so it's really cool. Honestly, I really enjoy being around the Brazilian mentality as well. I think it suits me quite well. My Portuguese is still very bad, so maybe when I stop racing on F1, I need to take some lessons." he said.

Max Verstappen had mentioned that he was looking forward to becoming a father for the first time but pointed out that he was already a "bonus dad" to Penelope. He had also joked that he might collect enough penalty points and miss a Grand Prix in the upcoming races so he could spend some time with his newborn.
