Oscar Piastri got the better of Lando Norris in Sao Paulo when the Australian pulled off a stunning lap to secure the Sao Paulo Grand Prix Sprint pole position. Piastri's final flying lap in SQ3 sealed the deal for him and put him ahead of his teammate. Following this, fans took to Twitter to share their reactions and call Norris out on his performance.
Friday's Sprint qualifying session saw some blistering performances from the McLaren duo, particularly Piastri. The Aussie clocked an impressive 1:08.899 on the timesheet to secure the pole position. He was 0.029s faster than Norris.
Charles Leclerc wrapped up P3 as he is all set to start behind the McLaren duo. Championship leader Max Verstappen qualified in P4. Norris, Verstappen's championship rival, needs to snatch every possible point away from the Dutchman.
However, his P2 against Verstappen's P4, put the British driver at backfoot. On top of this, he is expected to face fierce competition from Piastri on Saturday for the lead of the Sprint.
Following the completion of the Sprint qualifying, fans took to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions:
A fan wrote after Norris' P2, "Lando needs to launch his own bottle company, at this point."

Another fan wrote, "He’s going to steal more points from Lando. I wonder if we’ll see Papaya rules in action tomorrow."
"At least it’s Oscar and not The Other One," wrote another fan.
