Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time F1 world champion, has been named GQ-style champion for the year 2024. In a fiercely fought contest, the racing driver beat Australian actor Jacob Elordi to clinch the style award.

The 39-year-old is one of the most influential people in the F1 world. From setting a record number of championships and race wins to advocating for social causes, the Brit has been at the forefront throughout the past 18 years of his professional career.

Meanwhile, Hamilton has a soft corner for fashion. His stylish paddock fits are second to none. Over the years, he has toured several parts of the world to explore the fashion culture and embrace it into his style.

To honor his excellence in the world of fashion, GQ Magazine announced Lewis Hamilton as the winner of the GQ Style Champion contest. He beat actor Jacob Elordi to clinch the recognition of style icon.

The contest that started between 18 nominees was reduced to a man-on-man fight between Elordi and Hamilton. However, the racing driver beat his counterpart, as fans dropped humongous votes in his favor. With millions of fans following across the globe, Hamilton had an edge over the actor.

In 2025, the British driver will showcase his fashion sense in Italy, as he's set to join Ferrari. His official induction is yet to happen, as Hamilton spent the last week touring the UK and Malaysia as part of a farewell tour with Mercedes.

He spent 11 years with the Brackley-based team and won six drivers championships. However, with the Silver Arrows' level dropping since 2021, Lewis Hamilton took a leap of faith to switch teams at the age of 39.

The announcement, which happened in February this year, triggered a wave of driver transfers. The grid has turned upside down for the 2025 season, which will likely add to the excitement of fans.

As per recent speculations, Lewis Hamilton will reportedly end his sponsorship deal with Monster Energy. SportBusiness reported that the 39-year-old will terminate the deal before he moves to Italy to join Scuderia Ferrari in 2025.

The Brit signed the deal in 2010 as a part of team sponsorship with Mercedes. However, in 2017, Hamilton agreed to a separate personal sponsorship deal. As a part of the deal, the company launched a special flavored drink dedicated to the driver named 'Lewis Hamilton Zero Sugar.'

This move comes after Hamilton had signed with Ferrari. The Italian team has a sponsorship deal in place with rival brand Celsius. So, to avoid a conflict of interest, he had to take the call before he moves to Maranello in 2025.
