To release their new magazine, they posted the cover on their official Instagram account and talked briefly about Hamilton in the picture caption.
They talked about Hamilton being the first black F1 racing driver and how he went through hardships and moved up the ranks in motorsport. They also touched on him being a massive voice against racism and lack of diversity in motorsport.
"@lewishamilton, one of the most influential names in Formula 1, is also the fourth cover of Volume 04 of #ELLEMenBrasil. Born in a working-class English family, it has seven world titles. It also holds the most victories, pole positions and podiums in the most important category of automobiles in the world," the caption read.
"F1's first (and still only) black driver, he became a voice against racism and in defence of diversity in the sport, positioning himself firmly in the midst of Black Lives Matter. Hamilton wasn't afraid to contrast with the homogeneous look of his circuit mates, with his dreads, tattoos and jewelry."
Elle Men Brazil Magazine also explained how their team went to Seoul, South Korea, where Lewis Hamilton was pictured for their magazine cover. The Mercedes star was also captured with several kinds of luggage from German luxury brand, Rimowa.
When it comes to the current F1 season, Lewis Hamilton stands in sixth place in the drivers' championship table with 150 points. He won his first race after 945 days in the British GP and won another Grand Prix at Spa when his teammate, George Russell, was found to have an underweight car after he initially clinched the checkered flag.
Lewis Hamilton fondly recalls his British GP win after a nearly two-year drought
Lewis Hamilton delightfully recalled his race win at the British GP. It was the Brit's first win after 945 days since his last win was in Saudi Arabia in 2021.
Hamilton and George Russell started the British GP from the front row. Both Mercedes drivers had a fantastic start, holding off Max Verstappen of Red Bull and Lando Norris of McLaren.
In the latter stages, Russell was forced to withdraw from the race due to an issue with his car. This allowed Hamilton to take the lead and win. The much-needed victory sent the 39-year-old to tears. He broke down in tears and spoke with the Mercedes pit wall over the radio during the winning lap.
Speaking to Esquire, Hamilton labeled the race as 'magical'. He explained how overjoyed he was to perform well in his home race and secure a victory at Silverstone with Mercedes for the last time before departing for Ferrari in 2025.
"And finally, I had that day when I was able to excel, and we excelled as a team, and it just kind of shuts that all down. And it helps you rebuild again. So it was really great to be able to do it at home, in my home country, with my family around. The last race in Mercedes at Silverstone. It couldn’t have been more magical," Lewis Hamilton said.
