Lewis Hamilton's outfit at Silverstone included a $40,900 watch, $1,500 necklace, and more

Besides his racing prowess, Lewis Hamilton is also known for his eye-catching and quirky outfits. The Mercedes driver showcased his sense of style at Silverstone with an outfit reportedly worth over $43,000.

Hamilton's sense of style revolves around sustainability, streetwear, and luxury, and he regularly works with esteemed clothing brands. From Tommy Hilfiger and Puma to Eric McNeal and Law Roach, the list is endless.

At Silverstone, Hamilton arrived in a vivid red outfit from Jacquemus' Fall 2024 Collection. His outfit was designed by Eric McNeal, who has been a regular name behind Hamilton's outfits this year.

The seven-time world champion styled his outfit with accessories and jewelry reportedly worth over $43,000. Hamilton was wearing one of his favorite IWC watches, the Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar Top Gun Lake Tahoe watch, worth $40,900.

Besides this, Hamilton wore Polite Worldwide's Jumbo Pearl necklace, worth $1,500, and a classic freshwater pearls necklace, worth $425. They were paired with Jacques Marie Mage's black sunglasses and Timberland x Veneda Carter's six-inch boots, worth $250.

While fans enjoyed his paddock avatar at the British Grand Prix, this was the Mercedes driver's second appearance in Ferrari colors. Hamilton had earlier donned an all-red outfit at the Bahrain GP in 2023.

Lewis Hamilton opened up about how fashion changed him as a person and made him more confident in an interview with Vogue earlier this year. The Briton added that his tryst with fashion has been a process and a "real journey".

“I'm sure many of you look at your old photos and think, ‘What the hell was that?’ But what I’ve discovered is it’s a real process, a real journey," Hamilton said to Vogue Australia. "It’s just trying and being daring. I think I’ve tried so many different styles. I kind of describe my style as an evolution."

"It’s whatever makes you feel great. The trick is about self-expression. None of us are the same as anyone else. We have our own unique tastes, but it’s whatever makes you feel sexy! Embracing confidence. It’s taken me a long time to get fashionable—and a long time to actually convince the teams to change."

Hamilton also told Vogue that the changes did not happen overnight, as he faced hurdles initially. He claimed he was initially not allowed to wear clothing according to his liking but then he started attending fashion shows and subsequently started to experiment with fashion to express himself.
