Reigning F1 world champion Max Verstappen is coming off his sixth victory of the season from the action-packed Canadian GP. The Red Bull bandwagon now heads to the European swing of races, beginning with a triple header.

F1 returns to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from June 21-23 for the Spanish GP. The race provides teams with an opportunity to evaluate their cars on the 4.657 km (2.894 mi) track, which offers a good mix of high and low-speed corners.

Max Verstappen previewed the upcoming Spanish GP, a race where he claimed his maiden F1 victory. In preparation for the race weekend, the Red Bull driver has been working with the Milton Keynes-based squad to maximize the car's performance for the event.

"We are back to the European races for a while now and I have been with the Team at the factory this week preparing for the Spanish Grand Prix, being the first race of a busy triple header," he said in the Red Bull preview.
"It has a good mix of high and low-speed corners and we have historically driven well there so hopefully we can maximize the performance of the car this weekend."

The Dutchman hopes to continue the momentum from his recent victory in Canada and is hoping for clear skies for the race weekend in Barcelona.

"We are aiming to keep the momentum going from Canada, so we are looking forward to racing this weekend and hopefully have some good weather!" he concluded.

The Spanish GP weekend will provide a good read of the car balance for the teams while revealing the true pecking order. Red Bull's rivals are reportedly bringing upgrades for the race weekend, increasing the anticipation for the event.

Max Verstappen has won the previous two editions of the Spanish GP but is expected to face a tough fight for his third consecutive win at the track.

Max Verstappen reveals new helmet design ahead of triple-header

Max Verstappen unveiled a new helmet design ahead of the European leg of races. The Dutchman will be debuting the striking orange helmet in the Spanish GP as a tribute to his fans, expressing his gratitude for their support.

"Barcelona will be the first race where I will be debuting my new orange helmet. As a tribute to my fans and all of their support, they are actually featured on the helmet and I think the final design looks really cool and detailed," Verstappen said in the preview.

The European swing starts with the Spanish GP followed by Red Bull's home race in Austria and the British GP. After the triple-header, the Hungarian GP and the Belgian GP are scheduled before the summer break. The F1 season resumes in Max Verstappen's home race, the Dutch GP.
