After securing an impressive second-place finish at the Chinese GP, Lando Norris has reportedly sustained minor injuries during his trip to the Netherlands, one week ahead of the Miami GP (May 3-5).
The McLaren F1 driver was recently spotted in Amsterdam, partaking in the Kings Day celebrations (Koningsdag). He was seen partying on a boat with renowned Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, video clips of which quickly went viral on social media.
A few hours later, images of Norris' face loosely wrapped in bandages started circulating on social media platforms, sparking concerns among fans about his well-being and availability for next weekend's Miami Grand Prix.
Multiple sources close to the driver claimed that Norris cut his nose on a broken piece of glass, resulting in a minor injury. Fortunately, this suggests a quick recovery for the Brit and indicates that his participation in the sixth race of the season at Miami will not be affected.

Lando Norris reflects on McLaren's impressive weekend in China
Before the Chinese GP, McLaren had anticipated a tough weekend at the Shanghai International Circuit. However, the team exceeded expectations, with Lando Norris securing an impressive second-place finish.
Norris explained that they were quicker than they had anticipated, and he felt much more comfortable with the MCL38 on the long corners, areas where the papaya cars have traditionally struggled in recent years. He said in the post-race press conference:
"We were just quicker than we thought. That's the limitations, the places we expected to struggle, probably a lot more, we didn't struggle as much in. So these longer corners, like Turn 1, have always been a big weakness for us. And part of Turn 1 was probably better than we're expecting. And like the second part was probably as we were expecting."
Lando Norris suggested that the track surface might have aided the car's performance over the weekend.
"So it's just we're still learning about the car. It's as simple as that. This track is very different. The tarmac is quite odd. Maybe that played into our hands a bit more than we were thinking, maybe with the old tarmac, we would have struggled a bit more. So just little things, you know. We're not making it up."
