George Russell and Carmen Mundt make a trip to Wimbledon
After the F1 triple header, George Russell and his girlfriend, Carmen Mundt, are enjoying some downtime. The couple attended the women's quarter-finals at the Wimbledon Championship on July 10.
The Wimbledon Championships is the most prestigious grand slam tournament, with various celebrities in attendance. The Mercedes F1 driver and his girlfriend were spotted in the Royal Box on Centre Court, enjoying the action during the quarterfinals. They also met and were engaged in a hearty conversation with 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic.
George Russell initiated the conversation by complimenting Djokovic on his impressive Spanish-speaking skills. The tennis ace then asked Mundt, who hails from Spain, if her boyfriend's Spanish was good. Mundt humorously replied that it was not great, so Russell decided against speaking Spanish as it would leave him embarrassed.
After attending the Euro 2024 final, Russell will be gearing up for the Hungarian GP and the Belgian GP before the summer break begins.
