After China hosted its first F1 race after five years, the racing circus moved to the land of the West, the United States, for the 2024 F1 Miami GP
This will be the first US race of the 2024 F1 season and the second to host the sprint race format. It will take place at the Miami International Autodrome, which is a temporary track built around the Hard Rock Stadium. Since then, Miami has hosted two F1 races in 2022 and 2023, both of which were won by reigning world champion Max Verstappen.
The Chinese GP took place from April 19 to 21, hosting the first sprint race of the season. Verstappen and Red Bull were once again dominant forces in Shanghai, as they took both Sprint and Grand Prix wins.
Lando Norris had a brilliant race weekend as he took the sprint qualifying pole position and later secured second in Sunday's race. Ferrari had a mediocre weekend in China since they were unable to bag any podiums or pole positions.
