Mercedes' soon-to-be lead driver, George Russell, and his girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt, captured hearts with all-black outfits. The couple posed for Tommy Hilfiger's advertisement campaign ahead of the festive season. Russell, driving in F1 since 2019, has accumulated a net worth of $23 million according to Forbes, and with that volume of wealth, he enjoys a lavish lifestyle in the heart of Monaco.

Russell, born and brought up in the UK, followed his peers' footsteps and moved to Monaco with his girlfriend, Montero Mundt. The finance graduate-turned-social media influencer embraced the high-profile lifestyle of her boyfriend. Moreover, the 26-year-old racing driver is also the brand ambassador of apparel and footwear brand 'Tommy Hilfiger.'

Russell and Carmen recently did an advertisement campaign for the brand and slayed in black-on-black outfits. While the lady donned a black gown, the Mercedes star pulled off a black blazer and pants look. The photoshoot was themed around the upcoming holiday season with the caption:

"Holiday ready with @tommyhilfiger."

George Russell had a decent run in the 2024 F1 season. With two victories, two more podiums and 245 points, the Brit finished sixth in the championship race, ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton. He now heads into the off-season to spend quality time with his girlfriend and family.

Next year, the 26-year-old will step into the Mercedes car with the responsibility of being the team's lead driver. He will not only have to lead the Silver Arrows but also act as a mentor to rookie driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Filling into seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton's shoes is a challenge that awaits Russell.

As Lewis Hamilton parted ways with Mercedes, his teammate George Russell described his relationship with the 39-year-old during media interviews. As quoted by Motorsportweek, the Brit referred to Hamilton as his role model, especially for the kids.

Russell, as a kid, acknowledged looking up to Hamilton for inspiration. Hence, fighting toe-to-toe with him is a moment the British driver will cherish for the rest of his life. At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, George Russell celebrated his teammate's legacy and offered him a special helmet engraved with heartfelt messages. The duo shared a laugh recalling the memories of when the 26-year-old met Hamilton as a kid, asking for an autograph.

"You inspire the young kids, and I think also this weekend, when I look back to that photo I had of Lewis and I when I was a kid, I looked up to him, the same way as all these kids look up to us," said Russell.
“I think that’s probably been the biggest life lesson that I’ve learned from him, that sometimes, even if you want to really express something, there are hundreds of millions of people watching, and the way do you it is important," he added.

Lewis Hamilton beat his teammate in his final race with Mercedes at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Russell humbly conceded defeat to present a fitting farewell to the seven-time world champion, who was celebrating his 11-year-long legacy.
