NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick recently stated that Lewis Hamilton is one of his role models.

There is no doubt that the seven-time world champion is not only popular in the F1 community; he is also an inspiration to thousands of other drivers across all racing series as well. Reddick mentioned three of his role models, one of whom was the British F1 driver.

In a Twitter AMA video posted by Tyler Reddick, he was asked who his role models are in racing. He first mentioned Steve Kinser and Dale Earnhardt Jr., both of whom were extremely famous and successful drivers in NASCAR.

Finally, Reddick came to Lewis Hamilton and explained how he started to love F1, what the Brit stood for and how he drove in the sport. The NASCAR driver said:

"I have really grown to love F1, I really love watching that sport. So I really have latched on to what Lewis Hamilton does and what he speaks for, what he stands for, and what he does on the race track, obviously, too, is just incredibly remarkable."

Lewis Hamilton is not only celebrated for his talent and success in F1 but he is also respected for his views on world peace, gender inequality, and other world issues. Tyler Reddick first mentioned how he respects and relates to what the seven-time F1 world champion stands for.

Mercedes team principal feels Lewis Hamilton is still motivated to win his eighth F1 world title

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff backs Lewis Hamilton and claims that the Briton still has the fire in his belly to win his eighth world championship. Though Wolff admits that the Silver Arrows are currently unable to give him a championship-winning car, he believes that the team could in the future.

As per FormulaPassion, the Austrian billionaire said:

“I think he feels very strong and we too think that this year we will not race for the drivers' championship. This is what it looks like at the moment we just need to give him a car that is capable of doing that, and hopefully, we can build a winning package for this season and then have something more that can take him to his eighth title."

The Mercedes team principal added:

"I have no doubt that he is motivated to achieve this, this is what he loves to do, this is his ability. Personally, we have a great relationship with him and within the team, he has been one of the strongest pillars of the last ten years, so we are in a really good position."

Even Hamilton will be aware that he cannot compete in the 2023 F1 drivers' championship, simply because he is so far behind. However, the Brit trusts Mercedes and will continue to work with them.
