Former F1 driver Nico Rosberg cheekily compared his ice cream shop with Charles Leclerc's and said that his shop is much better.
Leclerc recently started a new ice cream company named 'LEC'. The company surfaced as a mysterious Instagram account that only had the Monegasque's initials.
Many accurately speculated that it was the Ferrari driver's new ice cream brand. Soon enough, he officially launched the ice cream business.
During the 2024 F1 Chinese GP, Ted Kravitz and Nico Rosberg conducted a grid walk when they started talking about Leclerc's ice cream business. Since Rosberg himself has an ice cream shop, Kravitz asked Rosberg about Leclerc's shop.
The former F1 driver said that he only has a shop, while the Ferrari driver has established an entire chain.
"He's got a bit bigger than, you know. I’ve just got a shop and he (Charles) has built a whole empire from the get go," Rosberg said.
When Kravitz asked whether he would invest in Leclerc's new ice cream company, Rosberg humorously claimed that his ice cream shop, which is located in Ibiza, is much better than Leclerc's.
"No way, ours is much better. We’re in Ibiza, and ours is much better."
