Eddie Jordan expects Max Verstappen to be the greatest of all time in Formula 1. Hamilton and Schumacher are the epitome of excellence in Formula 1 currently, but Jordan expects Verstappen to surpass them in the future.

Max Verstappen is currently the most sought-after driver in Formula 1. With three back-to-back titles under his belt, he is gearing up to claim his fourth this year. Besides this, the number of victories he claimed in the last few seasons is also worth noting.

Statistically, the Dutchman claimed 51 wins in the last 76 outings. The most recent wins arrived in the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix. Going by his current run of form, one could expect him to continue his dominance in the years to come, and perhaps meet Jordan's expectations.

"I really do believe in time he will be the greatest driver of all time. Subject to, fingers crossed, that he will be safe and well for a very long time," said Jordan, the manager of Adrian Newey, during the recent Formula For Success podcast with David Coulthard.
"Hhas such a phenomenal attitude in the car. He's aggressive when he needs to be aggressive. He's tough when he needs to be tough. But you know he's clever as well, he knows how to look after the car."

Verstappen had a brilliant debut season with Toro Rosso back in 2015, following which he arrived at Red Bull to make his debut for the Austrian giants. The Dutch star claimed his first-ever GP win in his very first race for Red Bull in Spain. From there on, he did not have to look back as he overpowered all his teammates from 2018, and everyone on the grid from 2021.

Max Verstappen can win ten world championships, claims Jordan

Eddie Jordan believes Max Verstappen will be able to overtake Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher [each with seven titles] and clinch 10 world championships in the future.

"If everything stays well with Max, mentally, physically, and everything to do with the car, Max is going to hit 10 world championships. Because he's that young and he's that good. And you know what he's like and how fast he is. He's just ridiculous, how good he is. I think Lewis needs to get on his bike and hurry and get number eight because it's soon to be passed by Max in any case."

Max Verstappen is currently leading the 2024 championship with 69 points after 10 races. As things stand, he is the hot-favorite to claim this year's championship, as well as the next [2025] if Red Bull manages to provide him with a rocket ship such as the RB-18, and RB-19.
