Fans on social media had a wholesome reaction to Daniel Ricciardo's latest social media post. The Australian racing driver uploaded a series of photos from his official Instagram account, and fans could not help but talk about how they 'missed' the big, wide smile of the Honey Badger.
Ricciardo has been away from F1 action after Red Bull sacked him from the Visa Cash App RB team at the end of the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix in September. The higher authority of the Austrian team took action after the Aussie failed to impress the top brass with his performances.
Ricciardo's departure from the Faenza-based team came almost a year after he was given the opportunity to race for the Red Bull-owned outfit after they sacked Nyck de Vries. However, the eight-time Grand Prix winner failed to keep his seat and it went to Liam Lawson.
Ricciardo, who is enjoying his retirement to the fullest uploaded a series of photos on Instagram. In the series of pictures, the Australian driver showcased how he had been spending his days away from the track.
The post also had renowned names tagged such as Actor Dax Shepherd, DJ Martin Garrix, Artist Aiden, and some of his friends. The post has gathered nearly 560,000 likes and over 1500 comments in seven hours, most of which have come from the fans.

As per recent reports, Daniel Ricciardo could be on his way to return to Formula 1, but with a new team. F1 and the FIA recently allowed Cadillac to enter Formula 1 as the 11th team in 2026 when the new regulations get underway.
Rumors have it that Cadillac, an American outfit, would love to have Ricciardo spearheading their attack. While there is no doubt about his F1 prowess, Cadillac can also use the enormous marketability of the Honey Badger.
