Following Adrian Newey's cameo in an iconic Ferrari F1 car, Tifosi renewed their hopes of seeing the celebrated aerodynamicist at Maranello. As per recent reports, Newey has snubbed the Italian squad's offer to join them after his Red Bull stint gets over.

Newey hopped on to Lauda's Ferrari 312T from 1976 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Sussex, United Kingdom. It was a successor to the late Austrian driver's championship-winning car from 1975 and one of the most revered F1 cars of all time.

As fans noticed Newey in their red car, reactions poured in from all over. Notably, the Tifosi are reportedly upset over reports of Newey's unwillingness to join the Maranello-based team.

However, the recent cameo by Newey was enough to make them hopeful all over again. Below are some reactions taken from X:

"Please let this be a hint," a fan said.
"Ya’ll just fueling the rumors," another fan said.

According to the latest update, there is no concrete report linking Adrian Newey to Ferrari. The master aerodynamicist ruled out all the rumors about his links with the Italian squad, as well as with Aston Martin.

When asked what his next move in life would be, he said:

"Ultimately, it’s not why I do the job. From the age of 10 or 11, I always wanted to be a designer in motor racing, and I’ve managed to achieve that, so everything else is a bonus really."

Adrian Newey is set to leave Red Bull in the first quarter of 2025. The British engineer spent two decades with the Austrian team, helping Red Bull claim six Constructors' Championships and seven Drivers' Championships.
