Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton broke the internet with his open letter to all the Almave drinkers on its social media. The seven-time F1 world champion has largely been off the radar in the offseason as he begins his new journey with the Italian team in 2025.
The British driver launched the brand in 2023 and dabbled in the world of spirits, but his own is non-alcoholic. The 39-year-old has made a name for himself away from the sport for his business ventures, such as his iconic collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger and IWC.
Hamilton's "Almave" got a lift up last year when Pernod Ricard, a world leader in the spirits market, acquired a minority stake in the non-alcoholic tequila brand. On its social media platform, Instagram, Lewis Hamilton sent a New Year's message to the consumers as they introduced an "Almave Guide To Clubs" which would help the community.
The Brit's message, which attracted around 10k likes on the page in 13 hours, along with a plethora of moments, said:
"For many of us, January is associated with restriction. At Almave, we want to change that. We believe true transformation happens when you say, Yes. And while you don't need permission from anyone to push for the changes you want for yourself there is something so powerful about finding your people. Community is everything and when we connect with those who share our mindset, the possibilities are endless.
"That's why I'm excited to introduce the "Almave Guide to Clubs" a roadmap for those who want to go beyond proof in 2025. Featuring inspiring collectives like Camp Yoshi, No One Home, Slowgirl Run Club, and Black Horses NYC. No matter which club you are drawn to or how you find your people, I hope this year leads you to the ones that push you to be the best version of yourself. Because resolutions shouldn't take away from your life, they should add to it."
Lewis Hamilton reflects on his excitement to join Ferrari
Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton stated that he was excited to start a new chapter in his racing career in 2025 as he joined the Italian team after being associated with the Mercedes brand for over two decades.
In his LinkedIn post, the 105-time race winner said, via F1.com:
“I could not be more excited for the year ahead. Moving to Scuderia Ferrari, there’s a lot to reflect on. To anyone considering their next move in 2025: embrace the change."
Lewis Hamilton will join the Maranello-based outfit on a multi-year deal that would see him racing for them until the end of the 2026 season at least. However, there have been questions surrounding his speed behind an F1 car after a difficult last three years with Mercedes dampening his stock on several occasions.
But Ferrari's team principal rubbished all the questions as he reinstilled his confidence in Lewis Hamilton's abilities as he started his tenure.
