Daniel Ricciardo was rumored to have raced his last in the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix after the Australian driver reportedly lost Red Bull's top brass faith of late. He failed to perform spectacularly at VCARB and rumors have it that he could face axe mid-season. Now, fans have come up to share their disappointment and slammed Red Bull for their Ricciardo treatment.

Paddock chatters, following the conclusion of Sunday's race, suggested that it was the Honey Badger's last Grand Prix at the Red Bull fraternity, and he could be replaced by Red Bull prodigy Liam Lawson ahead of the 2024 United States Grand Prix.

While team principal Christian Horner did not admit to the change openly, Ricciardo's emotional interview after the conclusion of the race made things increasingly obvious. Interestingly, Ricciardo was also the last driver to leave the Marina Bay Circuit paddock after the Grand Prix weekend.

Now, fans have come up on social media to share their disapproval and disappointment towards Red Bull about the way they handled Ricciardo's situation. Below are some reactions taken from X,

Another fan reiterated the same. He wrote, "Agree but RBR known to treat its drivers sh*t. You performing poorly and they loose any kind of respect towards you, gasly Albon checo and now Riccardo."

"He deserves a proper send off. This is hoesesh*t. I think F1 owes a lot more than they realize to Danny. He grew the sport massively with his personality alone, plus the red bull years," another fan wrote asking Red Bull to give Ricciardo a proper send off.
"Well said. He deserved an epic send off, not this," Another fan wrote reiterating the same.

A fan had some tough things to say about Red Bull, "Red Bull is a horrible organisation through and through, Marko sets the tone, Horner is rotten to the core, no wonder Verstappen wants out, genuinely think he won’t be ther after this season now, think he’s been looking for a way out, the car, the media"

"Totally agree. It’s not a surprise that Red Bull isn’t treating their employees with the respect they deserve but this is completely unacceptable. Daniel doesn’t deserve this," Another fan wrote, mentioning Red Bull's controversial conduct with employees.

Ricciardo joined the Red Bull team after McLaren parted ways with him at the end of the 2022 season. He joined the team as a reserve driver but was given the opportunity to drive for VCARB after Red Bull sacked Nyck de Vries in the mid-2023 season.
