"Should've named the movie 'Pitt Stop'": Fans unimpressed by Brad Pitt starrer F1-themed movie's name

After a lot of buzz, Apple and Warner Bros. finally announced the name of Brat Pitt's upcoming movie. Titled F1, the name of the movie seems to have disappointed fans.

Apple Original Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures made the official announcement on Friday during the ongoing British Grand Prix. The first teaser of the movie would be reportedly broadcast via F1's feed on Sunday.

The teaser would be shown 30 minutes prior to the race at 3 PM local time in the United Kingdom. The Brad Pitt starrer is set to release globally on June 25, 2025, and in North America on June 27, 2025.

While the movie is all hyped up, the name apparently did not live up to fans' expectations. They shared their thoughts on social media, questioning the logic behind it. Given below are some of them:

Lewis Hamilton exclusively worked as an associate producer of the upcoming movie starring Brad Pitt. While there's no doubt that Pitt is one of the most skillful actors out there, Hamilton himself observed how the Hollywood star already has a knack for it.

I've seen 'Interview with a Vampire' a thousand times, seen 'Top Gun' and all these great movies. Then to be standing with Brad and talking about racing and learning about racing, explaining to him the turning point to the braking point to apex and all these different things," Hamilton stated.

"Then being with Brad and seeing him drive in LA when we went to this track. I showed him around and nearly put the car in a wall. He's got a knack for it already, so he's just been working on honing that skill," he added.

Alongside Brad Pitt, Damson Idris takes on a major role as his rookie teammate at APX GP. Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon are other renowned names part of the film.
