Sergio Perez's communication manager, Alice Hedworth, recently wrote an emotional message, bidding the Mexican driver farewell. This was penned a few days after Red Bull announced the Mexican's departure.
Throughout the 2024 F1 season, rumors flew that Red Bull could drop Sergio Perez due to his subpar performances. After the Miami GP, Checo's performance dipped massively and he was unable to bag any podium place after the Chinese GP. Though the Austrian team planned to keep the driver for the rest of the season, they held a meeting after the Abu Dhabi GP and announced his departure after the season officially ended.
After Sergio Perez left the team, many team members in his camp bid farewell to the Mexican, including his communications manager, Alice Hedworth. She was frequently seen with the F1 driver during most of his time in the media pen and paddock.
Hedworth recently wrote a heartfelt farewell message on her X account. She penned that she was delighted to spend time with the Mexican and enjoy several Grand Prix victories with him. She also hailed Checo's Mexican entourage and thanked them for adopting her.
"Thank you for an incredible three years of wins, poles and memories but more importantly making it fun, never taking this mad life seriously and letting me work with such a lovely group of Mexicans, going to miss you all, thank you for adopting me ❤️," Hedworth wrote.
As of now, Sergio Perez has not yet announced anything about his future in F1 or other motorsports.
