Carlos Sainz celebrated his girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson's 29th birthday in grand fashion. The Ferrari driver presented Donaldson with an enormous pink birthday cake while they were celebrating her special day at a luxurious restaurant.
Donaldson turned 29 this year (she was born on July 24, 1995). Even though her birthday was in July, footage of her celebration surfaced on the internet recently. Going by the footage on X, Sainz, wearing a white full-sleeved classic polo shirt with yellow stripes, a black pant, and a grey cap arrived with the birthday cake.
Matching Sainz's outfit, Donaldson wore an all-white, elegant outfit. As the Ferrari star approached with the cake, everyone who was present with them started to sing "Happy Birthday" to her. The day after the celebration, Rebecca Donaldson posted about it on Instagram.
Sainz and Donaldson were in Milan recently, which is around two hours of drive from Maranello, Ferrari's F1 base. The Ferrari driver was already stationed at the Scuderia base due to their pre-summer break meeting ahead of the annual summer break.
How did Carlos Sainz and Rebecca Donaldson end up together?
Following his breakup with long-term partner, Isa Hernaez, Carlos Sainz started dating Rebecca Donaldson in 2023. Donaldson, on the other hand, used to date Keeping Up With The Kardashians cast member Scott Disick, but they broke up in 2022.
The rumors started to surface around the first quarter of 2023. In the end, they were an official couple by mid-2023. They began to make appearances together in the paddock and were spotted in the 2023 Mexican GP, 2023 Brazilian GP, and 2024 Miami GP.
On the professional side of things, Carlos Sainz decided to join the Williams F1 Team in 2025 recently. He will drive alongside Alex Albon, under the guidance of James Vowles, their team principal.
Carlos Sainz lost his drive early in the season when the Prancing Horse decided to sign Lewis Hamilton on a multi-year deal starting in 2025. This marked the end of Sainz's journey with the Italian team.
The Spaniard arrived in Ferrari back in 2021 from McLaren. He spent four years with the Prancing Horse, where he claimed three victories. As he is moving to Williams next season, it is going to be his fifth F1 team in 11 years, after having raced for Toro Rosso, Renault, McLaren, and Ferrari.
Sainz is currently fifth in the F1 Drivers' standings with 162 points to his name. The Spaniard won the Australian GP while also registering third-place finishes in Bahrain, Japan, Monaco and Austria. He ended sixth in his last two races at the Belgian GP and Hungarian GP.
