Watch: Hilarious clip of Charles Leclerc conversing in Hindi with Indian superstar's son

F1 Grand Prix of Miami - Previews
Charles Leclerc of Monaco and Ferrari looks on in the Paddock during previews

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was spotted conversing in Hindi with the Indian superstar Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim, at the Miami Grand Prix earlier this month. The Indian was spotted in the paddock among other celebrities in early May to enjoy the F1 fever in the Sunshine State.

The 23-year-old was a paddock guest of the Ferrari F1 team and Puma Sports and thoroughly enjoyed his stay in Miami as he posted several pictures of himself at the track on his Instagram. He even posted a picture with the Monegasque driver in the hospitality area.

In a video doing the rounds on social media, one can see Charles Leclerc hilariously greeting the Indian in Hindi which caught the latter off guard. When Ibrahim Ali Khan asked how the Ferrari driver was, the 26-year-old said:

"Main badiya. Aap batao? (I'm well. How about you?)"

Leclerc finished the Miami GP on the podium in P3 behind first-time race winner Lando Norris and Max Verstappen. He challenged the Red Bull driver after the safety car restart but wasn't able to get past the Dutchman after several tries throughout the race.

Charles Leclerc gives his take on the 'Monaco curse' after winning the iconic race

Charles Leclerc stated that he never believed in the 'curse' but accepted that it was 'frustrating' to not win from his two previous pole positions in 2021 and 2022.

In his post-race press conference, the six-time race winner said:

"I never believed in the curse. However, it always felt very difficult in the two occasions I had to win here. One, I couldn't even start the race. The second one, we didn't make the right choice, I think. So it was very, very frustrating to lose those wins.
"The thing is that as a driver you never really know when will be the next opportunity to win especially when it's your home race and even more so when your home race is Monaco, that is such a special track, such a difficult track, and such a difficult weekend to master and to do everything perfectly which we did."

Charles Leclerc added that his third pole position was another opportunity to break his duck at his home race and finally nab the victory.

"So I knew that today was another opportunity. I knew how it felt the last two times I was in this position, but I obviously really wanted to get that victory today, so there's a bit of tension. But as I've said, as soon as I put the helmet on and as soon as I get into the car I don't feel anything anymore."

The Monaco GP on Sunday was Charles Leclerc's first win in almost two years as he last won in Austria in 2022.
