Lando Norris was far from happy during the second Free Practice Session of the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku. The McLaren driver wasn't best pleased with Pierre Gasly, and his way of showing dissent grabbed numerous eyeballs.
Norris, who was unhappy with Gasly's actions during FP2, showed a middle finger to the Alpine driver. This was a rare moment of Lando Norris visibly showing his frustration, both this season and in general.
As seen in the onboard video, Norris drove side by side to Gasly and looked at him. While driving past him, he showed his middle finger to the Frenchman. But what might have caused the McLaren driver to lose his cool?
Well, the Brit was on a flying lap during the practice session and while he was trying to max out his pace, he was unintentionally blocked by Gasly. This resulted in a near-miss between the two, which otherwise could have resulted in a major crash at the Baku track.
While the movement triggered Norris, Gasly could not do much either. The Alpine driver, during the time of the incident, reported that he was facing issues with his battery.
