Lewis Hamilton is enjoying his time off away from the grid and attending the 2024 Paris Olympics. Days after rooting for his friend Miles Chamley-Watson, the Mercedes star returned to action with Hollywood star Nina Dobrev in the French capital to watch the ongoing Games.
In a recently surfaced video on X, Hamilton was seen taking Dobrev around in a wheelchair. The Briton had the Canadian actress sitting in the wheelchair, and was performing 'donuts'.
Notably, Dobrev suffered a scary knee injury while trying out a dirt bike for the first time in May this year. In the process, she fractured her knee and injured her ACL and meniscus. The Vampire Diaries star then underwent surgery and is still in the recovery phase.
Hamilton and Dobrev were a part of 'Team Miles' in Paris. Team Miles consisted of a close group of people who rooted for the American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Aside from Hamilton and Dobrev, several others attended Chamley-Watson's fencing match at the Grand Palais strip in Paris. Shaun White, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, Tanner Beard, Daniel Forrest, Jonny Hynes, and Paul Khoury were some of the notable personalities spotted alongside the duo.
Hamilton arrived in Paris after a successful first half of the 2024 F1 season. Before the summer break, the Mercedes ace wrapped up the first half of the season brilliantly after claiming two wins in quick succession for the first time since 2021. He claimed the 2024 British Grand Prix win and broke the record for the most wins at a single circuit with his 9th win at Silverstone. The 39-year-old then claimed P1 at Spa-Francorchamps courtesy of George Russell's disqualification and claimed the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix victory.
Lewis Hamilton consoled Miles Chamley-Watson following the latter's Olympic loss

Lewis Hamilton came out to console his American fencer friend Miles Chamley-Watson after the latter and his team lost their Bronze medal match to France. Following the completion of the match, Hamilton was seen hugging Chamley-Watson and clicking a group picture together.
Owing to Chamley-Watson's presence in the US fencing team, stakes and expectations were high for them at the 2024 Games. Unfortunately, Chamley-Watson and his company Gerek Meinhardt, Nick Itkin, and Alexander Massialas lost out on an opportunity to win a medal in the event following their defeat to France with the scoreline 45-32.
Earlier, Team USA lost out to Italy in the semi-final match by 38-45 and crashed out of contention for the gold. Japan claimed the Gold in fencing at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, whereas Italy had to settle for Silver, and host France took the Bronze.
