F1 fans once reacted to Lewis Hamilton's unique outfit that he wore during the 2024 F1 Emilia Romagna GP. While some people loved the outfit, others were not impressed.
Hamilton has always shown interest in fashion on and off the paddock. He has attended several fashion shows and sealed brand deals with luxury apparel giants. Hamilton is known for donning outfits in the F1 paddock that make him stand out from the crowd.
At the Emilia Romagna GP in May 2024, the seven-time world champion sported a longline black shoulder-padded blazer, which had capped sleeves. He paired it with a black jumpsuit that featured flared trouser legs and large white patches on the pockets. The jumpsuit also had a low v-neckline which gave a glimpse of his tattoos on his chest.
In September, an Instagram creator named Bella shared a video in which she asked for reactions on the street about Hamilton's eccentric outfit. Some of the people she spoke to were fans of the Mercedes star and praised him for wearing unique outfits in the paddock.
On the other hand, others did not appreciate Hamilton's outfit. While one humorously stated that Hamilton looked like a character from the Mortal Kombat video game, others simply shook their head and gave low ratings to his outfit.
One person hilariously referenced a popular video game series and said,
"What is he? F**king Mortal Kombat?"
The 2024 F1 season was Lewis Hamilton's last with Mercedes. He will soon be officially joining Ferrari for the 2025 season.
"This situation is not easy to manage" - Ferrari boss not worried by Lewis Hamilton's performances in 2024
Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur stated that he was not concerned about Lewis Hamilton's performance dip during the 2024 F1 season. In an interview with Sky Sports, Vasseur discussed Hamilton's mental state and acknowledged how challenging it can be to control it, while also applauding his accomplishments in various races.
Vasseur said.
"He had very good races in Vegas and in Abu Dhabi. And I was never - really, never, never, never - worried about this situation. This situation, and I don't criticise Lewis or Mercedes, but this situation is not easy to manage. And I can understand that if it's not going very well, you can suffer in this relationship,"
"He was not very well in his mind, but he was clear in Brazil about this, for example. But he also did very well in the last couple of events, so I'm not worried at all," he added.
The 2024 season has been Lewis Hamilton's worst since he joined F1 in 2007. The seven-time world champion finished seventh with only 223 points, which is the lowest position he ever secured in his career.
