Nico Hulkenberg feels Daniel Ricciardo is the right choice for Red Bull and not Raikkonen

There have been speculations regarding the replacement for the outgoing Red Bull driver Mark Webber with several names coming up for the possible candidate to take the driver’s seat alongside Sebastian Vettel in 2014.

Kimi Raikkonen of Lotus and Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull’s sister team Torro Rosso are the front runners at the moment and opinions are divided about who would be the right choice.

However, Sauber’s German driver Nico Hulkenberg feels that Daniel Ricciardo as a replacement for Webber would be the right choice for Red Bull.

“I would like to pick him (Ricciardo). Daniel is a fast guy, and finally a young driver would get the chance to prove himself,” said the former Force India driver.
