On this day, September 15, two grand prix events happened – 1985 at Spa-Francorchamps and 2007 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

15/09/1985 Belgian Grand Prix:

The grand prix was round 13 of 16 with 43 laps to chequered flag and 24 drivers starting the race. Ayrton Senna won the race starting second on the grid in Team Lotus car while pole sitter Alain Prost of McLaren finished third. Alain Prost set the fastest lap of the race. The race was debut fior Christian Danner of the team West Zakspeed Racing.

15/09/2002 Italian Grand Prix:

The grand prix was round 15 of 17 with 53 laps to chequered flag and 20 drivers starting the race. Rubens Barrichello of Ferrari won the race starting fourth on the grid as pole sitter Juan Pablo Montoya of William F1 team retired with damage to chassis. Barrichello set the fastest lap of the race.
